DeFrock, low standards, what motivates them?

Little need be said about this Internet site (defrock.org). It simply collects anything that places renewable energy (not just wind power) in a bad light and repeats it.

What is their motivation? A number of people don't like the look of wind turbines, but what valid reasons can anybody have to oppose solar power in a world that is in desperate need to change away from polluting fossil fuels? Is a blind hatred of wind power in the authors of DeFrock spilling over into an opposition to all renewable energy sources? Or is it simply that they are paid by the supporters of fossil fuels who are justifiable afraid of the impending demise of their industry and the heavy financial losses that will come with it?

The truth is that we must have wind and solar power if we are to get rid of the fossil fuels that are the main cause of climate change, ocean acidification, sea level rise and ocean warming. The air pollution from the burning of fossil fuels kills millions of people world-wide each year.

The truth is that renewable, sustainable energy harms hardly anyone, and as shown in South Australia, has been a great success.

In common with several other dishonest anti-wind power Internet sites the author or authors of DeFrock do not identify themselves. An unwillingness to put one's name to one's writing is always an indication of a lack of honesty. If a person, or a group of people, were telling the truth why would they not identify themselves?
